@JeremyECrawford if they haven’t taken the hide action, Do you have any guidelines for how far away a creature can reasonably pinpoint the 5ft square an unseen enemy is in using its other senses (mainly asking about hearing)? I don’t need set rules just guidelines if available.

Newp. That sort of thing is DM’s discretion or will be called out in locations in adventures and the like Or wait, if you just mean how far away you can hear something, yes that’s on the screen in the encounter distances chart
