Help me, #TTRPG Twitter: an urchin boy who’s become a master thief and steals powerful gemstones that give him magic spells. What D&D class/archetype would you make this kid OTHER than Arcane Trickster? How might you build this?
I have a plan; just curious to see options. 🤔✨ Warlock. Terms of the pact are for the stealing, not necessarily for the jewels specifically. Archfey seems appropriate.

Sounds like pure Thief working with the DM for the gems/magic use. Any bard is an honorable mention, with the archetype as backstory flavor.
