@ChrisPerkinsDnD @astylepixie What are the workings and limitations of a true polymorph? If, say, an ice construct were transformed into an avariel, how are details like hair color decided? Are aesthetics limited to those natural in avariel or could it have unique icy elements?

The spell description covers the basics, but the new form needs to be a creature that exists (that is, something for which there are statistics). Another important point: the magic can be dispelled, so even a true polymorph is not irreversible. #wotcstaff https://t.co/LBoooL46it
