How do you explain Eberron to new players in session 0? I’m trying to convey all the necessary lore without overwhelming them with my tangents of Lhazaar’s pirates and Droaam’s troll farms. Don’t try to explain all of it; explain what they need to know for the story in question. In my Q’barra campaign I explained the overall concept of the Last War but didn’t even g into specific detail on the Five Nations; once people had basic ideas, I explained more to add depth.
