Does the two handed strike have different bonus for the attack roll?

hey, I’m wondering if there’s any particular reason why you ask @WillingBlam to tell you if he’s holding his weapon with two hands before the attack. Does the two handed strike have different bonus for the attack roll?The damage die increases from 1d8 to 1d10
