@ChrisPerkinsDnD I have a question if you don't mind. As we saw yesterday during the BG3 trailer (super excited btw) the Flaming Fist merc was converted into an llithid. My question is, can they only convert mortal races or can they do outsider races (Angels, Demons) as well.

Ceremorphosis affects only creatures of the humanoid type (which wouldn’t include celestials or fiends). However, illithids are known to mutate other types of monsters (such as beholders, dragons, and ropers) to give them mind flayer-like traits. #wotcstaff https://t.co/N3itIV83tp
