I could use your advice on a 5e mechanic if possible! A player of mine wants to switch out the versatility on his longsword for finesse, sacrificing the 1d10 dmg if two-handing the weapon. He is a lvl 6 Human Ranger, do you think this would be to overpowered? Thx!Not really! That’s essentially a rapier mechanically, with the skin of a longsword!
