@userZynx @ChrisPerkinsDnDwould it break game if I gave Eldritch Knight Druid spells instead of Wizard spells, using Wis instead of Int? nope

@DoctorBadWolf @userZynx @ChrisPerkinsDnDoh! Also divine Rangers and Druid spell arcane tricksters! What about Paladins with Druid spells? swapping spell lists is essentially power neutral #WOTCstaff

@userZynx @DoctorBadWolf @ChrisPerkinsDnDExcept for modifying Warlock spell list, right? I believe it was built to avoid certain spells? yes – generally most spells that require concentration

Druids don’t get metal armor, I would justify allowing an Eldritch Knight using only the druid list and getting the armor restriction, and maybe trade the weapon bond with wild shape.

“Swapping spell lists is essentially power neutral…”
Uhhh — *no*, Mike, it *isn’t*, lol! That’s why the various spell lists are constructed and framed the way they are — it very much makes a differences for most classes! (And switching out access to the Wizard list for the Druid relative to the EK, noting that they’re limited to Abjuration and Evocation spells, very much affects the EK’s functionality as a (sub)class, lol!)
This is a perfect example of why Mike’s comments/posts were ignored and often made fun of in the 5E RAW groups… poor thing….
