Really hoping for official answer. If a character with War Caster feat casts Booming Blade as a reaction to enemy provoking at 5' -> 10', is a reach weapon valid for the melee weapon attack component of the spell?

Booming blade has a range of 5 feet, and its description says its weapon attack must be within that range. Whatever melee weapon you're using, the range is 5 feet. The spell really means it. #DnD https://t.co/4ad1qKYmM8

The description of the wish spell lists the things you can do with the spell reliably. For Curse of Strahd (spoiler). Player fulfilled the same dark pact as Strahd becoming a Vampyr. Team beat Strahd then killed the player who turned. My question, similar to how Strahd cannot truly die and comes back, will the player come back too? DM(me)cantdecide Would be fun to have the player character return! You could use that return as the foundation for a whole new campaign, with the PC vampire as the villain.

When a D&D rule refers to rolling a number on a die, the rule means the number on the die. For example, rolling a 9 on a d20 means the number 9 on the die. Reliable Talent applies when you roll a 9 or lower on the d20 for a qualifying ability check. The rule really means 9 or lower.
