@MalignantMind1are there any adamantine mines, specifically in the northern sword coast region? "Adamantite" is the ore; adamantine is the derived alloy (see Dwarves Deep); most mines are E; SCoast ones are N of Tulrun's Tent (orc land)

Ed’s Naval Battle
@ChrisPerkinsDnD @jvcparry you could make a case on a crossbow an than place a flask with some explosive in it. Would work as a improvised rocketlauncher

@jvcparry @SirionBloodmoon @ChrisPerkinsDnDTake a look at what @TheEdVerse suggested with the mangonel! I imagine alchemist’s fire is involved somewhere… 1/2) Heh. Not needed. Because: you need sails up to move in a naval battle, and unless you have magic to prevent sails burning away, a . . .
— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) April 23, 2017
@jvcparry @SirionBloodmoon @ChrisPerkinsDnD 2/2) . . . volley of oil pots into your sails can leave you adrift at sea, no matter how the fight turns out. So: close fast, and board.
— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) April 23, 2017
@jvcparry @SirionBloodmoon @ChrisPerkinsDnD P.S. DON'T ram, because if your ship is crippled in the fray, you may need to seize your foe's, and sail it away…

Is there a language that apprentice Wizards need to learn in the Realms?
@benpheloung Howdy Ed. Is there a language (like Latin/Ancient Greek) that apprentice Wizards need to learn in the Realms? Yes for illusionists (2nd Ed: "secret language" their spells are written in). Unless they have access to newer spell "translations."Most do.

Are the Cloud Giants that appear in “Death Masks” the same as the ones that show up in Storm Kings Thunder?
@MileyMan1066are the Cloud Giants that appear in “Death Masks” meant to be the same as the ones that show up in WotC’s Storm Kings Thunder? Some of them, yes. ;} Like the human race, giant races aren't monolithic; they react to change differently & form fiercely opposed factions
— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) April 20, 2017
@MileyMan1066Truth. Wasjust curious if the 2 incidents of the castle over waterdeep were meant to be the same thing, just using different names. Thnks! Different forays. Death Masks is first diplomatic foray, to soften Laeral up/train her to not instantly view flying castles as an attack.
— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) April 20, 2017
@MileyMan1066Ahh OK, this is immensely helpful! Was agonizing of timeline stuff. This clears it right up, thank you so much! A pleasure!
Best way to think of DEATH MASKS: It hints at many future things, found in game adventures, but covers few of them directly.— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) April 20, 2017
Where would you recommend adding a new continent to Forgotten Realms?
@literallymagicWhere would you recommend adding a new continent (which has, in this particular campaign, always been there) to Abeir-Toril? Depends entirely on climate you want to adventure in, trade ties with Faerun you want to have. SW of Chult is easiest for low impact.

Forgotten Realms: where one may find info on The Ghost Holds and King of Ghosts? 👻
@ThatNerdSean @ChrisPerkinsDnDwondering where one may find info on The Ghost Holds and King of Ghosts? In Volo's Guide To The Dalelands and glimpsed in my IDW "Forgotten Realms" comics (see Battledale).

You know what would be cool?
@xsp0rkx You know what would be cool? A Forgotten Realms open play game where you can just walk around anywhere in the Realms =) And THAT'S why I've been trying to detail EVERYWHERE in the Realms for 50 years. ;}

What is the origin of the name Secomber in forgotten Realms?
@Wandering_DMquick question. Did the name for Secomber (faerun) come from a mashup of the names of the months of sept. through december? Nope. The great lady who introduced me to D&D (now sadly passed) happened to be named September, so I would never do that.
— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) March 27, 2017
@Wandering_DMoh. Sorry. I didnt know 🙁 Is okay. Not a sore point. Just explaining. "September" is an unusual given name, even for babies born in September.
