What’s your feeling about those DM’s that charge players to play in their game? Would you? I've run many events at conventions where seats are auctioned for charity (not a penny to me). I've charged just once, to cover time as I was snowed under with deadlines; it didn't feel right. That doesn't mean it isn't work, and workers should be paid. Hobby for some, not all.

Hi Ed, sorry if this question was answered already, is there anything I can read about contraception in the Realms? Is there “a spell for that” ? (Yes, I answer this one about every three years, it seems. It's okay.) There ARE spells, but almost all deities frown on their use. However, herbal contraception, both draughts and inserted jellies/pastes, are far more popular (and the "good ones" are very effective).#Realmslore

Daggerford is fairly quiet for a frontier town. Sure, lizard men raid the local baron’s holding now and then, orcs sneak out of the Misty Forest to raid caravans on the Trade Way, and Lady Bronwyn has a few suitors who are a touch too passionate, but there’s nothing going on that a member of the renowned Daggerford militia can’t handle.
Except that the Shining River has turned green, and cattle are dying. Except that the Elf King of Laughing Hollow, a place where no human dares go without fearing for his life, is asking the militia for help. Except that strange substances are oozing from the fissures caused by a recent earthquake. Except that the earthquake also has opened an entrance in the cliffs around the Laughing Hollow that might lead to the fabled dwarf mines of Illefarn.
Suddenly, being a militiaman isn’t quite as easy as it used to be.
“Under Illefarn” is the first module produced for use with the Forgotten Realms Campaign Set.
Hey @TheEdVerse , it's becoming more obvious that Netheril is involved in the new book. My problem is I can't find any sources at all that say that Netheril was in Icewind Dale. I looked at GHotR and one of its maps says that Icewind Dale was dominated by Orc tribes during .. (1)
