Can we get a race variant for Aberrant Dragonmark folks too? It’s really a vibe that is pretty unique for D&D. It’s tricky because anyone can have an Aberrant Dragonmark—they aren’t tied to a particular race or bloodline—so it would either have to be “aberrant human” or a whole series of aberrant mark variants for every race.

Just listened to the WAYFINDER’S GUIDE episode of Manifest Zone. I love the idea of wands as handguns versus rods and staves as longarms – I’m imagining a stagecoach guard cradling a rod like a shotgun, eyes peeled for bandits. Exactly!

The main question is who develops the spelljamming science. Cannith? The Zil? The Arcane Congress? Does it REQUIRE a dragonmark, and if so, which one? Essentially, do you WANT someone to have a monopoly, or do you want a sphere race?

@mikemearls The updated Warforged says “you gain no benefit from wearing armor.” Does this extend to the magical properties of armor as well? Can warforged not benefit from a +1, or adamantine armor’s crit-negating, or from demon armor’s unarmed strikes? #DnD

That seems…..kind of backwards. If armor is so tough that certain hits can't penetrate it, or provides a magical property, it shouldn't matter who is wearing it. I think this ruling could make Warforged (and any other race that gains no benefits) feel at a disadvantage.
