So was doing some thinking about #DnD5e about Kenku.

Kenku lost there ability to fly, talk with there own voice, and come up with original ideas due to a curse from there master.

Much like many other cursed races from the Forgotten Realms that don’t have the curse in #Eberron Would Kenku in Eberron also not have this curse?

Do Kenku in Eberron speak? Maybe even fly? Can they be artists due to having original ideas?

Asking @HellcowKeith, what are Eberron Kenku like? Are they the same as in the Forgotten Realms or are they not cursed?

In Eberron, Thelanis is the realm of stories. I like the Kenku as refugees from Thelanis: few in number and indeed said to have been cursed by an angry archfey.

Random question:Iis there coffee in Eberron? I can’t find any mention in any of the books, aside from the 4e’s passing mention of ‘coffee houses’ but I wanna know if it’s a thing my character can drink. There can be if you want there to be. However, the only stuff-put-in-hot-water beverage that’s been mentioned in canon (that I’m aware of) is called tal. In my novels, the artificer Lei drinks blackroot tal with honey.

how dangerous would you say common magic is in Eberron? How common are accidents or side effects from magical services (e.g how often do elementals escape from bindings etc)? What costs or consequences does a society that relies on magic face? This is affected by the fact that it’s a D&D setting. By D&D rules, a spell always works unless you’re punched in the face while casting it. Magic items are entirely reliable unless they’re cursed. Adding a dangerous aspect to magic would require changing the underlying rules.

Some Invocations grant additional attack options that utilize your bonus action. Granting Extra Attack is tricky to balance against its other features and subclass philosophy.

Hrm. ‘nother Morgrave’s question: why do at least 4 of the Siberys marks get “are better at interacting with dragons & other dragonmarked.” This seems ESPECIALLY weird for the Mark of Death, since dragons and probably most elves treat that as “shoot on sight” no? @HellcowKeith
That’s a good question for @RutyWoot. Personally, my take is that the bonus doesn’t reflect RESPECT; it’s supernatural influence tied to the bearer’s connection to the Prophecy. A dragon may want to kill someone with the Mark of Death… and yet, they’re strangely compelling.

Im stumped and need to fill a secret House Cannith facility within the Mournland and give it depth. What are some things that House Cannith could have been working on in secret before the Mourning? Warforged fortifications: living structures of steel and wood. Elemental binding (currently a Zil secret). Industrial transmutation or conjugation.

Perhaps a cache of (mostly) dead Warforged docents with a suspicious schema written in ancient Giant, drawing ties to dangerous ruins in Xen’drik… This is an interesting point. If it’s a SECRET Cannith facility, you could certainly have dangerous artifacts from the Age of Giants or Demons that Cannith is studying or attempting to replicate — or a sentient object that isn’t inherently dangerous, but is alien.

It says your AC becomes you CHA, if you multiclass would this stack with a Barbarian’s Unarmored Defense? Thanks! what’s your opinion on this?

When you allow the symbiont to take over, your AC, not your “base AC”, becomes your CHA score.

This AC calculation works in the same space as all the others, and multiple instances of AC calculation don’t stack.
