Dunamis is a greek word that means strength, power, ability, etc
Dunamis is a greek word that’s also found in the bible that means strength, power, ability, etc. It’s where our word “dynamite” got its origins. could be it!
(This is my estimation from research of the word “Dynamo” in college.) You are correct! https://t.co/lebW2Sfk72

Will there be a Reverse Dunamancy spell to allow time travel? Because I don’t believe D&D has fully explored the possibilities of time travel in magic

A quick counterpoint: If it’s fantasy and not science, that means it’s not exact. Much like how when you use teleport without a circle destination, you have to roll % dice on the success. I think it would be an interesting addition with limitations and ways to gloriously fail. There are many ways to introduce such ideas to a home game! Time travel as a player-spell (particularly when it comes to going BACK in time) becomes a challenge to balance and make trackable on a mechanical level. Narratively…hell yeah, go for it!

I was wondering if the Lycanthrope’s Feral Might and the Improved Predatory Strikes features stacked with each other
DOWNLOAD The new BLOOD HUNTER
I’m looking through your latest update for your Bloodhunter Class (love it BTW), and I was wondering if the Lycanthrope’s Feral Might and the Improved Predatory Strikes features stacked with each other They do indeed! One improves damage, the other the attack bonus.

Does maddening and relentless hex from Warlock invocation benefit from Blood Curses of the Blood Hunter?
DOWNLOAD The new BLOOD HUNTER
Sorry for the curiosity @matthewmercer but in discussion about blood hunter another question. Does maddening and relentless hex from warlock invocation benefit from blood curses of the blood hunter? Even if only you go profane soul? They would not, as blood curses are not Warlock hexes, I fear. 😉

Does Emboldening Bond work similar to Bless? Do you declare you’re using the d4 before or after the roll?
Hmm, wonder if @Dan_Dillon_1 knows, but does Emboldening Bond work similar to Bless? Do you declare you’re using the d4 before or after the roll?
Seems modeled after Bless, so we’re rolling with that ruling for now – rolling with the check at time you decide to use it. Wording’s a little vague since you can only use it 1/turn, I’d go with you can see the roll then decide to use your Bond .
