I have a follow-up question on Wildmount for @matthewmercer and company, now that the world of Exandria is in the official settings list, how does it connect?

What I am really asking is are there Spelljammer ships in Exandria space?

Historically, yes. Between Spelljammer, Planescape, Ed Greenwood’s pantry and Ravenloft there were direct connections between all the worlds. Eberron was the holdout, but the recent release stated it fits in with the rest of the worlds but it is in a sequestered state. The official 5e D&D setting is "the multiverse" that includes all game worlds. Some are easier to gain access to than others (Eberron is an example of a world that's much more isolated), but they all exist in the same greater existence. #WotCStaff

just a quick question for the blood hunter class. You’ve said before you can apply crimson rites to ranged weapons instead of ammunition but for a character that uses throwing daggers would you need to apply rites to each dagger? Thank you! In that circumstance, you would indeed.

Would getting “daggers of returning” make that build easier? Very!

Using daggers, even in a belt of returning, would negate the effect, as written. If you take damage to infuse your weapon with the blood magic, does that mean you infuse the belt of returning or every single dagger? Because if so that would be broken comparably If the weapon has an ability that it returns to your hand at the end of your turn, then the rite doesn’t fade.

If it’s a property that creates an endless string of NEW weapons, then the rite would need to be applied each time.

What about gloves of dagger throwing? Can I apply the rite to the glove to count the daggers as ammunition? By the raw, rites are applied to weapons, not equipment. Your DM could allow it otherwise, though!

When the item is pulled and thrown from the belt.. it returns to your belt though not your hand… so of that is the case you embue the belt with the rite? Much like if you had a crossbow you embue the crossbow not the bolts… If that is the thinking I get it The DM might rule that you could draw your returned weapon before the end of your turn. However, you cannot imbue a non-weapon with a rite.

Hey Matt in the Hunters Bane feature it says you get advantage on intelligence checks to recall information about a monster or creature. Did you intend for that to he a History check, or nature, or even religion? Aye, it depends on the type of creature, and which check the DM deems necessary to recall information.

I was curious if you multiclass from or to warlock with Blood hunter can you choose a different patron? I was just thinking of doing that and realized it never been specified. Unless I missed it and then I apologize. It has not been specified, but I might need to now with a question like this! I would think that patrons are jealous entities, so would prefer the patron be consistent between both classes. 😉

My inquiry to this was thinking more along the lines of a warlock makes a pact out of desperation and is found by the Blood Hunter orders and given the chance to repent thus a new contract is struck to atone like started with Fiend and Profane Soul with Hexblade(RQ) or Celestial Indeed! It could totally be doable, and makes for a nice, convoluted narrative.

Thank you for the new version of Bloodhunter. Order of the lycan, do you have to be hybrid transformed to add the crimson rite to your unarmed strikes as a single weapon? or do you have to transform first and then apply the crimson rite? It’s a feature of the Hybrid Form, so you would need to be transformed to gain the benefit.

Order of the Lycan Blood Hunter.

They get Heightened Senses, which gives them advantage on perception involving hearing or sound.

Would that technically mean their passive perception is boost by +5 because of that advantage, as stated in the PHB? I’d think so!
