#dnd tip for playtesting: once you get the feedback, read it to see what needs to change. Even if the playtest feedback is "wrong," consider why. For example, you get feedback saying, "You need to tell us who the mayor of the town is" when the first sentence has that info. (1/2)

Don't just discount that feedback. Ask yourself if you might need to repeat that information elsewhere, or change the mayor to be more memorable, or move the information to a different part of the adventure.
