Would Cold Sun, Poison Dusk, and Dragonborn be considered subraces of lizardfolk
If this is a question that should be asked under one of your articles, let me know. I don’t really understand Lizardfolk. As far as 5th edition is concerend would Cold Sun, Poison Dusk, and Dragonborn be considered subraces of lizardfolk? Have you read Dungeon #185? Cold Sun are lizardfolk. Dragonborn are dragonborn. Poison Dusk are lizardfolk, dragonborn and kobolds who've been influenced by fiends. And to the settlers, they are all "Scales."

I did. I guess I was confused by the special names dragonborn and cold sun were using. The more I’ve read, the more I think lizard folk wouldn’t make a good choice as a player race, except in special circumstances. Special circumstances, certainly. A lizard folk raised among humans, who have the Cold Sun dream but doesn’t understand it. A lizardfolk from Xen’drik whose culture is less alien.

Or one from Q’barra on a quest requiring them to work with humans, who has learned how to communicate better than most.

But in my Q’barra campaign the communication and cultural barrier between humans and lizardfolk is an important part of the campaign, and I’d discourage a lizardfolk PC.

What is typical of a Yuan-Ti’s diet?
So I’ve been scouring lore, but I can’t find it: What is typical of a Yuan-Ti’s diet? Snakes eat small game, but what is small game to a Pureblood or Malison? Thanks! Eggs of everything. Insects, frogs, and toads large and small, even venomous (either withour harm or digested with mild discomfort). Small furry creatures of all sorts, avians likewise if they can be caught. And those dwelling among humans eat what humans do, but cleave to meat.

And, I shouldn't neglect to add, blood. Mixed-bloods (and milks) broths and soups, too.
— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) March 25, 2018
Thanks so much, Ed! This will bring a lot of life to my Yuan-Ti <3 Great! (I see yuan-ti surreptitously sneaking to livestock, to suck milk. And stretching nets in trees to snare birds.)

Ed’s skeleton
For I am come at last to the castle dark
A tumbled ruin that over high hill holds sway
As ever, about its blackened towers stark
Hangs the deathful stillness of decay
Ah! Here come the skeletons in cold array
To greet their master, who’s been long away— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) January 5, 2018
So you sneer, bold knight, as you swing your sword to cleave
Yet know that I fear you not
For I know you’ve not got
Shattering spells like these I cast on your helm and your gorget and greave— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) January 8, 2018
I tread wild places where none before me have trod
And the bones of dragons poke up through the sod— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) January 10, 2018
He came for us right through our deep-goring spears
Impaled, he swung steel and of our lives made free
Beyond death, now armored in your fears
I am your doom, said he— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) January 8, 2018

D&D is not just a game
D&D is not just a game. It’s self expression… it’s enjoying group storytelling… and working together to share an experience where ALL are responsible for the enjoyment of every other member of the group. Whether you play or watch, you are in the group. You are one of US.

Could you point me in the direction of an appropriate degree for a job on the design team at Wizards?
@mikemearls Hello, I could use some help. Could you point me in the direction of an appropriate degree for a job on the design team at Wizards? I need some real direction, and going for my dream job is the hope I need right about now.

Broad experience is good, so avoid going too narrow in your studies. For system design, programming and math are good. For narrative I'd look at history, English, anthropology, geography. A mix is the best. I was a geog major with a good amount of computer science course work. https://t.co/H7nOueytBh
