I was tempted to do a flat +2 bonus when i first encountered the flanking question in 5e. With bounded accuracy — too strong a bonus, in your opinion? I love this edition’s simplification vs past situational modifiers but i’ve seen too many sitchs that grant adv in my games. I'm not big into flat bonuses because they slow down play, but if you only have this one, it may not. Give it a shot and see how it works!
