Ruty, just thought of another thing; do Warforged count as “wearing armor” for the purposes of the defense fighting style? Release day RAW, the answer is “No”. As long as the line “You gain no benefit from wearing armor” remains a part of their build (and it likely should) any benefit that requires wearing armor is null, regardless of whether they are considered to be wearing armor or not.

However, we have tossed around a few different approaches for warforged composite plating, and this is the option the #dnd team picked and playtesting will ultimately decide. You, and your table, should make your thoughts known. As objectively as possible, of course.
