@SlyFlourishDo dragon and Tarrasque claws count as magical weapons or does it have to be clearly identified like Tiamat’s stat block? A monster's stat block tells you if its weapon attacks are magical, as in the golems and angels in the MM.

RAI, with the Echo Knight, is it supposed to be susceptible to Fireball? How about Shatter?

I know how I am currently ruling for my game, but I wondered.— Wyrd GM (@WyrdGM) April 13, 2020
The fireball spell in D&D forces creatures to make a saving throw. The Echo Knight's echo is intentionally not a creature, so it doesn't make the save.
The shatter spell affects creatures and nonmagical objects. The echo is intentionally neither of those things. #DnD https://t.co/3jlUa7QAQt

Invoke Duplicity: Does it take your spell concentration slot?
@AseahawkfanInvoke Duplicity: Does it take your spell concentration slot? Or is it like a spell, but doesn’t count as casting one? If a feature says it requires concentration, as Invoke Duplicity does, you can't concentrate on it and a spell simultaneously.

Can a stunned enemy scream?
@jaa0109Can a stunned enemy scream? Curious about Stunning Strike, push enemy out window, & yelling. A stunned creature can "speak only falteringly" (PH 292). I would allow a muted, short scream. @ChrisPerkinsDnD @mikemearls

If you have Acrobatics can you use Dexterity for jumping distance?
@NiemiJeffIf you have Acrobatics can you use Dexterity for jumping distance? More efficient use of momentum? A DM could allow Dex. to be used for jumping, but Dex. already has a ton going for it: initiative, AC, saves, etc. @mikemearls

Can a creature use its Multiattack even if one or more of the attacks can’t occur?
Question about Multiattack, @JeremyECrawford: If a creature has a Multiattack that includes two attacks A and an attack B, and A has longer reach/range than B, can it use that Multiattack when its target is out of reach/range of attack B, or can it only use attack A once? #DnD Are you asking whether a creature can use its Multiattack even if one or more of the attacks can't occur?
— Jeremy Crawford (@JeremyECrawford) January 10, 2020
Yes, that’s correct. Or rather, specifically, I’m asking if it can do that if the Multiattack action is worded “Creature does X” and not “Creature can/may do X.” A monster can use its Multiattack even if one or more of its attacks have no chance of hitting.

Observant Feat says +5 to passive Perception and passive Investigation. What is passive Investigation?
@JeremyECrawford Observant Feat says +5 to passive Perception and passive Investigation. What is passive Investigation?
— Giolon (@Giolon) September 24, 2015
Passive Int. (Investigation) rarely applies. If it does, it uses the normal rules for passive checks (PH, 175). #DnD https://t.co/l6BvgPAVgt
— Jeremy Crawford (@JeremyECrawford) October 6, 2015
@ActusRhesusthen what is the point of +5 to passive intelligence? The point is that you get +5 if the DM uses your passive Intelligence (Investigation) score.

Why does crossbow expert specify that the bonus action requires a ‘loaded’ crossbow?
ERRATA Crossbow Expert (p. 165). The word “loaded” has been cut from the third benefit.
@pizzystrizzyquestion – why does crossbow expert specify that the bonus action requires a ‘loaded’ crossbow? That’s really flavor text. Assuming you have enough ammo, the first bullet of the feat enables you to easily load the weapon.
— Jeremy Crawford (@JeremyECrawford) October 25, 2014
@RSIxidor @pizzystrizzyDo you need two hands to load a hand crossbow? IE, could I have a shield or rapier in the other hand? I’d say you need at least one hand free to load the bolt.
