@MJStephensWordsSmites: should I read “melee weapon attack” as “with a melee weapon in melee or thrown” or “melee attacks with a weapon”? If you're referring to the text in a monster stat block, it means a melee attack with something that counts as a weapon.

@apollyonhelfirewould a hidden rogue add sneak attack damage to eldritch blast if they had it say from magic initiate feat or multiclass sneak attack specifies a ranged weapon, but I'd allow it in my campaign. on the powerful side, especially at high levels
