@Morrus @mikemearlsDispel Magic is different in Starter Set to PHB. Which is correct? The version of dispel magic in the Player's Handbook and the Basic Rules is the correct one.

Charger Feat & Ready Action: Compatible?
Thanks for your time! They don't work together, since you can't take a bonus action during someone else's turn.

@Miahkai so honest question, what was the reasoning of limiting sneak attack to light weapons, but giving rogues Longsword prof? useful for when you don't have sneak attack

In narrative combat how would you handle cone attacks?
@SlyFlourish @mikemearls @ChrisSSimsSpecifically, in #dnd 5e narrative combat how would you handle cone attacks? I usually wing it. But here's a trick: divide a cone's size by 10 (round up) for the number of targets.
— Jeremy Crawford (@JeremyECrawford) September 7, 2014
@vikke064 @SlyFlourish @mikemearls @ChrisSSimsSo 2 targets in a 15ft cone? Yes, if you're using the divide-by-10 (round up) trick.
— Jeremy Crawford (@JeremyECrawford) September 7, 2014
@SlyFlourish @JeremyECrawfordso the Ancient Red can hit nine!? Awesome! To me, it's more interesting, because I can imagine the cone being sprayed around, instead of frozen in space.

Sorcerers don’t have ritual casting, but bards do. Is that deliberate?
@wachunga Just noticed that 5e sorcerers don’t have ritual casting, but bards do. Is that deliberate? I don’t see the logic there. bards rely on study and lore to learn magic, sorcerers are prodigies who don't engage in study.
