@nirvanstryderWith Mage Slayer, if caster uses Subtle Metamagic to cast spell, would I know and react to attack him? I'd rule that the person with the Mage Slayer feats needs to be aware—by sight or sound—that a spell is being cast.

are magic weapons like Frost Brand meant to be paired with a +1-+3 weapon
@sirgourls are magic weapons like Frost Brand meant to be paired with a +1-+3 weapon, or are they complete as-is and just confer no +? A magic weapon grants a bonus to attack and damage rolls only if its descriptions says so. A frost brand, for instance, doesn't.

Do the temp HP from Heroism accumulate each round
@GunnerMcGrathDo the temp HP from Heroism accumulate each round, or are the same X HP just replenished each round if they were lost? Temporary hit points never accumulate, unless a spell, feature, or other effect says otherwise.

@GunnerMcGrath“Gains temporary hit points at the start of each of its turns” sounds like temp HP total goes up each round if not lost. ? Nope. The spell would tell you to add the temporary hit points together if that was the intent.

@LordHighMarshal @frizbog @mikemearlsHow would one get a ritual spell if it is in another party member’s spell book? The warlock could copy the ritual spell from that spellbook.

How do you guys handle Perception for sleeping characters?
@pukunui81How do you guys handle Perception for sleeping characters? Passive with -5 for disadvantage? I normally treat a sleeping character as unconscious. A good shake or loud noise can wake the sleeper. @gregbilsland @mikemearls
