Can you tell us if elminster does enjoy traveling to other d&d worlds like Ravenlof, dark sun and others? If yes, how frequently does he travel to these other worlds?

Is it really “travel”, though, if you’ve got access to advanced planar portals?
He’s not packing a bag, getting a taxi to the airport, and then sitting through a six hour flight rereading a dog-eared paperback for the umpteenth time. He can probably go most anywhere at an instant’s notice, the same way you’d walk to the kitchen to fetch a sandwich.
