Finished Death Masks and have few questions
1) could you expand on Mystra’s ban on mind affecting magic? Is it something you envision persisting or just during the “transition period” after her rebirth? Lot of spells like Detect Thoughts are covered, right? The ban was just after she was reborn and was settling back into stability (i.e. the Weave becoming more stable). During the decade long Spellplague brought on by Mystra’s death were the God’s able to grant their follower’s spell? I realize the Weave & Shadow weave fell and a sundering of events wreaked havoc on the realms with arcane magic. But I’m not sure how this affected the “divine magic” relationship between Gods and their followers. Was it all “one of the same effect” because of Mystra’s command/ownership of magic?
