I’m listening to a podcast in which they pronounce artificer as ‘ar-tif-ICE-er’. This bothered me. I googled the pronunciation & found that Google Dictionary pronounces it as ‘ar-TIF-iss-er’, which enraged me.I put the emphasis on the AR in artificer. But there’s no official pronunciation.

Seems pretty straight forward.
Artifice is “AR-tif-iss”.
Artificer is “AR-tif-iss-er”.
