Would using an atlatl count as using a thrown weapon (for Thrown Weapon Fighting). If so, how would you stat one? Add the Loading property but increase range? I’d probably just count them as javelins.

I don't think I'd go that route, no. I'd just use the javelin line and describe it as using an atlatl for flavor.

If you want to get more complex that opens up all kinds of extra stuff you have to worry about.
