What does it take to be come an author of Forgotten Realms books? If you mean novels, a licensing deal with Wizards of the Coast. One of those is currently giving us a new Drizzt trilogy from R.A. Salvatore: TIMELESS, BOUNDLESS, and a not-yet-released third book. Wizards' own novel line is suspended, indefinitely.

I’m an author not yet published and I’m working on a novel that takes place in forgotten realms. I’m using some character and city names that takes place in it but I don’t know how to give it to them any help.
