#dnd tip for playtesting: as a player in a playtest, play as close to normal as you can. Pointing out problems is great, but don't spend too much time trying to solve the problem: that's the designer's job. If they designer ends up reaching out for help, then provide it. (1/2)

This isn't because you aren't capable; it's because problems may get solved in ways that you can't foresee for other reasons. Spotting the problem is the big help. Playtests are often done to test play time, so spending time not playing the game may throw off that metric. (2/2)
