#AprilTTRPGMaker continues with a picture of my workspace. I don’t really have one specific spot. My desk at work is more admin stuff, I do lots of writing on my iPad in random spots, plus meetings are where a lot of ideas come from. Really, my best ideas come from running games. pic.twitter.com/1yzkGBZjrC

So what’s your map setup/what are the cards in the middle? I’m still working out what I like best for the player side of maps I don’t normally play with minis. Players have to sketch their own map if they don’t want to get lost. I will use minis for big fights, though.

Cool that makes sense! And I assume don’t worry about square by square travel as much people are just “in the room”? Yup

Care to go over your DM screen a bit? What do you have on there? I covered it in my review of my kit, but I’ve updated my kit so I need to redo that. Perhaps tonight? About to wrangle a toddler…

Made my own version of the canvas board DM screen you're sporting. Thanks for the inspiration! pic.twitter.com/c55cqdNXUR

Also, I assume that you are the cat in the picture, and in such case congratulations on being the first feline DM in modern D&D.
