Will you release a document including the Swordsage as a class?

I’ve given it a lot of thought, too – as I have tried to homebrew it. So far with no definite conclusion.

Trouble is, that it is probably somewhere between a fighter and and a wizard – probably with elements of paladins and clerics, as they were part of monastic orders in 3.5e. And it is unclear wether their magic is purely arcane, divine or wild magic (sorcerers).

Additionally we must be able to distinguish swordsages from spellblades:
    • swordsages focus on the art, tradition and honing of skills (melee, magic, academics and mending) to integretive perfection
    • spellswords seek the most efficient techniques for practical battle

Which class(es) would be best to start from? And how do you integrate subtle feats etc. from other classes? How do you avoid overpowering characters?

My only main conclusion is that this is pretty complex from the general rules for generating new classes.
