I know that in the past you have stated that Exandria has two moons, but that one of them is practically negligible due to size/distance. Did the moon(s) play any factor in the creation of the elvish-rooted calendar presented in the guide? In many (real) cultures, the phases of the moon were either an important timekeeping tool or some marker of regular/cyclical patterns over time, but I haven’t been able to find many allusions to the moon having such a function in Exandria.
As an aside, the only things I’ve seen in the guide are that on full moons, the veil between the Feywild and the Torian forest is weakened, and that the eve of the decade’s largest full moon is used to celebrate the Moonweaver, as well as the ceremony of the Moonweaver’s Ribbons in Lyrengorn (although I’m not sure if that actually has anything to do with the moon itself). Are there any more mundane reasons for observing the moon in Exandria or are its phases somehow less reliable or useful than those of Earth’s own moon? The second moon is much farther away, and some aren’t even convinced its a moon at all. Let’s just say I’m holding onto some of that fun info for future things. ;)Comment from discussion [Spoilers E106] Tal'Dorei Campaign Setting AMA.
