@mikemearls SCAG says Chult is a peninsula again, but it was referred to as an island several times during the stream. Which is it?

Please I have done an exhaustive search of the information and I am pretty confused. First, Chult was fully attached, then an island, then a peninsula, then an island with a couple of chain islands to the mainland, and now a peninsula again?
I’m sorry the continuity of a admittedly confusing part of the world that is frequently cut of by the edge of a map 🙂 I would give my eye teeth for a good map of JUST the region from Baldur’s gate south and west.
Please help me see where I am getting it wrong thanks.
