Why no “Permanency” spell in 5e?

  1. It shouldn’t be a big deal. Use same concept of Nystul’s Magical Aura. You can have a list of spells that have this affect and not be a spell but part of the Player’s Handbook or DM guide or similar nature.

“The effect lasts for the duration. If you cast this spell on the same creature or object every day for 30 days, placing the same effect on it each time, the illusion lasts until it is dispelled.”

I can see the Swift Quiver spell be used this way on a regular quiver for example. And these spells can always be dispelled. Same with the Mage Armor spell on a particular robe or something.
