For example, would a giant have larger Bigby's hands than a pixie would?

When you make a statement on twitter, it's a "word of god" statement. It would be helpful if you appended "unless something specifies otherwise (such as with grapple)" type statements, where the character limit allows.

But the dragon made of flowers already exists at the time you said “Every dragon is made of rainbows.” As Word of God for D&D, don’t you think it’s better if you not make such broad unequivocal statements if you want people to look to the exceptions? I qualify my statements when I remember to or when I think it's important in a particular situation. My apologies if I've confused you when I haven't done it.

@JeremyECrawford If a Barbarian/Druid character uses Wild Shape while raging, does their rage damage bonus apply to their attacks? What about with animals like a Poisonous Snake where the animal's attack bonus appears to be Dexterity-based?

The barbarian's Rage feature doesn't require you to be in a certain form for it to work.

Class feature X doesn't require you to be in a certain form to use it.

Spell Y changes your form and prevents you from using class features.

You therefore don't get to use class feature X while you're under the effects of spell Y.

D&D is a game of exceptions; an attack can be special and not fall into either category: weapon or spell.

The rules tell you if an exception is happening. For example, the grapple described on p. 195 of the PH is called a special melee attack, not a weapon/spell attack. #DnD
