I’M NOT A DUNGEONS&DRAGONS DESIGNER, I reply if I have a right answer but my answers are not official.
I’m just a librarian that collects and study designer answers.
If you need an official answer you could ask directly via Twitter to Master Jeremy @JeremyECrawford or contact sageadvice@wizards.com
Long time reader! May I send you a free review copy of Fainting Goat Games’s first 5e release, an adventure/Gazeteer?
MAster Jason
Thank you for your offer but English is not my first language and will be difficult for me understand and have some thoughts about your Gazeteer.
I usually take long time to read an english book, I’ve created this website also to better compreheand english.
I wish you all the best.
Fair enough! Thank you for all you do. This site is so helpful.
Where can we go to report typos in the PHB? A flaw for the urchin background is “I’d rather kill someone in their sleep THEN fight fair.”

Master zoltar,
Please share your insight about Divine portent and lucky feat. Which one wins. Also what happens on a diviners duel both using Divine portent on a die?

Master Mike already answered your question : http://www.sageadvice.eu/2016/09/04/diviner-portent-versus-lucky-feat-lucky-win/
after that I suggest to go deep in Sage Advice compendium and answer from Master jeremy about Lucky and divine portent, but don’t go too deep or the answer could be this

Have Fun.
How is the Escape DC derived for the Giant Octopus and Giant Constrictor Snake? Neither is proficient in Athletics according to its stat block. G.O. has a Str. of 17 (+3), +2 prof, and escape 16; GCS has a Str of 19 (+4), +2 prof, escape 16.
If I wild shape into either, should I just recalculate using MM p.11 [10+Str(Ath) Mod]?
A friend of mine keeps making stipulations that a cleric cannot use necromancy spells, or spells that deal necrotic damage. He continues this argument by suggesting that “necromancers” can’t use healing spells, and are limited to the necromancy school. What core book makes this assertion in 5th Edition, and what edition, if any, made this a “feature?”
Sounds more like lore/flavor text than an actual rule. Maybe something carried over from a previous edition of D&D.
