How do you think is the best way to deal with a player who just won’t listen when you are dming? In all seriousness, if a player isn’t respecting the work you are putting into running your game, then talk to them about it. If they continue to be a problem, maybe this isn’t the table for them.

Can the lightning rail be taken through Cyre?
I’m sure this has been asked before, so I’m sorry in advance. The bridge at Thaliost is ruined, which leaves only the routes through Cyre. Can the lightning rail be taken through Cyre? I have all the previous edition books, but I can’t find the reference. No lightning rail through the Mournland, though someone trying to establish one sounds like a great adventure plot!

The rules detail how to move a creature you're grappling by using your own movement. If you try to move the creature some other way, you need to use the rules on lifting and carrying.

All the above! The one shot may launch a campaign. I’m an old Advanced and Second edition guy, that 5th reeled back in. I’ve always been a Dragonlance and Realms guy, but listening to you talk about Ebberon has me hooked!! If you want to draw players into the world and they WANT a little reading, I'd consider giving them the first chapter of the Wayfinder's Guide, which gives a good overview of the things that define Eberron. I'd also think strongly about the flavor you'd like long term…

The Wayfinder's Guide presents a few other approaches; you could do a classic Clifftop Adventurer's story if you want to focus on pulp & seeking lost relics in dangerous places, or Callestan for gritty noir.

How does different times/calanders affect certain things?
How does different times / calanders affect certain things? For example, if the world has a day that’s 20 or 25 hours long, do things with a duration of 1 day last the 20/25 hours, or the usual 24? Things that last or take 1 year, if the year is 200 days or (1/2)400 days, does it take / require 200/400 days or is it the 'usual' 365? Same for on a different planet, or in space. Would a leap year take the extra day? (Would be helpful to know when making multiple / different worlds and spelljammer settings) (2/2)

Is there a finance industry in Eberron? How has magic, particularly divination magic, impacted it? I know there’s banking, but what about investing? If there are any books, be they supplement or prose, that deal with this, I’d love to read them!Excellent question. It's something we've suggested that both the Aurum and Kundarak are involved in, but so far it hasn't been explored in depth. It's something I'd like to include when I delve deeper into widespread magic.

DM keeps calling for Stealth checks for Arcane Eye claiming it can ‘be run into by creatures’ or ‘bump into things and accidentally make noise’. Correct or incorrect? Not how I’d run it, but every DM handles things differently. Is it based on where the sensor is placed? I could see doing that if it’s in a spot where someone might encounter it, like in a doorway or some such.
